GWO training standards are created by the Global Wind Organisation, a non-profit governing body established by wind turbine owners and manufacturers to create a consistent safety standard across the wind turbine industry. All GWO certificates are valid for two years and must be renewed to remain compliant. Without valid GWO basic safety training, personnel are not permitted to access onshore or offshore windfarms.

GWO Basic Safety Training (BST)

The GWO basic safety training BST package is the essential starting point for anyone entering the wind industry. It combines five modules. First aid, fire awareness, manual handling, working at height, and sea survival into a single certified package recognised by all GWO member companies worldwide. We offer both onshore and offshore versions depending on the nature of your role.
