GWO Training Centre Salford, Manchester
MC Training operates the first dedicated GWO training centre in Manchester, built specifically to meet the growing demand for GWO safety qualifications across the North West and beyond. Located at Waters Edge Business Park in Salford, our 7,000 sq ft facility brings everything needed for accredited GWO training under one roof, from indoor sea survival to working at height rigs and full wind turbine environment simulation.
State of the Art Facilities Built for the Wind Industry
Our GWO training centre is designed to replicate the real conditions delegates will face working in the wind industry. The facility includes an indoor sea survival pool complete with a wave machine, allowing practical sea survival training to be carried out safely and realistically on site. Work at height rigs and real turbine blades give delegates hands-on experience of the wind turbine environment before they set foot on a live site.
One of the standout features of the MC Training centre is the Power Climber lift, the same equipment used inside an operational wind turbine. Delegates learn to use this as part of their working at height training, building genuine competence rather than classroom confidence alone. Everything is state of the art and purpose-built for GWO training delivery.
